The Woods
If you know what we mean when we say 'I use antlers in all of my decorating' then you watch too many cartoons. But you might want to check out this place which really does love putting a bit of the animal kingdom into its interior design. The Woods is a relaxed yet sophisticated pub, open extra late on Fridays and Saturdays – great if you haven't quite got enough of the intricacies of reindeer taxidermy. Plus, you can sit out in their heated beer garden, which is a real treat. Nothing beats the thrill of sweating in the winter.

12 Jun 2011I had always loved coming to the Woods for an evening out or pleasant early afternoon catch up with friends, this sadly came to an end when I had received unpleasant remarks and juvenile behaviour from one of the glass collectors. She was very boisterous in her movements and had a bit of an attitude if I must say. I overheard her commenting on customers and members of the public in the woods at the time and was incredibly shocked that the Woods would employ a young girl to be childish and obnoxious. This kind of atmopshere isn't good for team morale as is it for customers wanting to come in and spend their money.
