The White Bear
For a place run, and crawling with students you might be fairly surprised that this could be such an exciting and welcoming pub. But it is. The White Bear is so down to earth it's practically magma, and you can happily while away the hours with pool, board games and books all there for the taking. Perfect for the occasional lazy hair of the dog day. Hop along with your guitar on Thursdays for the open mic night. Oh, and be sure to press the infamous 'chorizo' button when buying your drink for the chance to nab some money off of your pint.
