The Royal Oak

Spend long enough in Clifton and it's easy to get sucked into the big student bubble hovering over the area. But all is not lost - k get yourself to the decidedly local, yet unfailingly welcoming, Royal Oak and all dreams of donning a pashmina and wearing your hair in a messy up-do that took approximately three hours to create will fade away. There are none of your snazzy cocktails at this good solid local, either - more like a pint of Gem Bath ale.
