Zero Degrees
This super-cool bar and restaurant does a nice line in munchables (Itchy is a particular fan of their weird and wonderful pizzas), but where it really comes into its own is in the alcohol department. The on-site microbrewery ferments up all sorts of beautiful and diverting creations, including - as Itchy recalls with a certain tangy lump at the back of the throat - a raspberry ale. You can even pick up a cask for parties, or as an extra special gift for the dipsomaniac in your life. And it's strong stuff. Expect to go from zero to 180 degrees at speed.

10 Jan 2010Just stumbled into there today.... Super cool? Well, the large restaurant area does look comfortable, but the bar area does live up to the "cool": certainly chilli, the charm and smell of a morgue.... Just without the fun dead people...
