Bringing London wine bar culture to the West, The Fine Line is the place to be seen. That is if you're a suit or sloaney student. Needless to say that there's an air of pretentiousness lingering about the place. Avoid all the dull office talk by grabbing one of the few sofas otherwise you'll be left with a sore arse on the very uncomfortable wooden seats. Don't be tempted to grab a seat in the restaurant unless you're eating, as you'll be hastily shipped out, no matter how many excuses about sore feet you can come up with. Tasty selection of cocktails – prices start at £5 –, while the Honey Vodka and Butterscotch Schnapps are certain to put some fire in your belly. The food – 11am–9pm – on the other hand will leave very little in your belly, but will still cost you a day's wages.
