The Coronation Tap
They claim to be Bristol's oldest and only cider pub. Oldest maybe, but as far as only -well that just depends how hard you hunt. But we will concede that this Georgian/ Regency pub is a real cider house, with Sunday being the day for traditional cider comedy involving live music at lunchtime as well as a quiz night in the evening. Yes, if your chosen tipple is bright orange brain-rot then stumble down to the Cori Tap. It's a stronger man than I who can keep up with the locals and stagger home in one piece. But not to worry -the management kindly provide a Cori-cam to capture those hilarious drunken moments that your brain has long since blanked from memory and next time you pop in you'll quite likely find a picture of your finest hour pinned to the walls.
