Finnegan's Wake
Nestled incongruously between about five Indian restaurants, Finnegan's Wake is a popular stop for drinks before dinner. For a chain-themed Irish restaurant it's surprisingly packed full of character - despite the presence of Sky Sports and a pool table. Justifiably proud of its live music, which varies from traditional Irish bands to local jazz and blues, it has been known to provide many a memorable knees-up. The food is fantastic and my personal favourite is the Dublin Grill. Food served 11-9.30
