Lord Byron, The
The Lord Byron, like the man, is lively, camp and has too much liquor in it. The silly murals, South Park figures and magnetic letters on the fridge, are no doubt a cracking wheeze for students looking for cheap ale and some cop off action. It meets all the basic bar requirements, with live football coverage, a karaoke night every other Thursday, and standard pub–grub. At the weekend when the late licence kicks in, the tables are often unceremoniously turned into dancing platforms. Not for the faint–hearted, but definitely a good place to finish a night in. Food served all day.
