Phoenix Bar, The
As with many Irish themed bars, the Phoenix's Gaelic heritage runs about as far as a knee–capped Leprechaun. With the endless Guinness memorabilia to the green paint that encompasses you on entrance, you could mistake it for Ronan Keating's bedroom. Full of cosy corners in which to snuggle up to Andrea Corr, or more likely embark on a catatonic drinking binge at weekends when the late licence packs 'em in. I'll give it to The Phoenix, they certainly drink like the Irish if nothing else. Food Served: Fri 12pm–3pm, Sat all day
