Brisfest 2012: What can we expect?
Party at Ashton Court!
Preview
At long last the eagerly awaited line-up for Brisfest 2012 has
been released, announcing legendary De La Soul as main headliner. We
festival fans (especially those of us too poor for bigger festis) have
been brimming over at the thought of hitting Ashton Court to party once
again. And now we know we’ll dancing to top notch music come rain or
shine…
Taking place on the 22nd and 23rd September, the beautiful estate also plays host to co-headliner Beardyman as well as a heck of a lot of our favourite local bands and DJs. Roni Size, Doctor Meaker, Babyhead, Shelanagig and Laid Blak to name just a few. But better than that, Arcadia will be showcasing their spectacular ‘Lords of Lightning’ FULL SHOW. If you’ve been lucky enough to catch this before, you’ll understand what big news this is. If you haven’t, then it’s imperative. You must, must go.
Tickets are an affordable £31 for the weekend and if you’re strapped for cash, there are opportunities to volunteer (just take a look at their website here). So you don’t have any excuse... Itchy will see you there!
