Beyond Retro
Hidden in the multi-coloured madness of Brighton is a store which reflects the city's eccentric personality. Beyond Retro Brighton, one of three in the UK, is a goldmine of quirky clothes and accessories. From cocktail Dresses to cowboy boots, bright jumpsuits to sparkly little numbers, each piece is oozing with vintage character. The laid-back atmosphere is refreshing, the music played will make you want to dance embarrassingly (they also do in-store gigs), and the painfully stylish assistants are always helpful. However, cynics may note the sort of thing on sale could probably be found in your mum's 80s wardrobe. Despite this, we have fallen head-over-heels in love with Beyond Retro. Head down there if you crave more than the tedium of high street shopping.
