Green Door Store
Green Door Store is definitely not a warehouse rave. Tucked underneath Brighton station with the old wooden trading doors still in place – although now aptly painted bottle green – there is a grimy yet oh so obviously stylised vibe to it that will have even the most nonchalant scene kid sweating a little inside their skinny jeans.The dance floor is on the small side, made more cramped by an intriguing paved seating area with a freestanding door frame - almost like totally dilapidated shed. But this touch suits the whole ambiance of the place which feels slightly more concerned with looking good than really letting go.
