Victory, The

Slap bang in the middle of town, you may waltz past this one with your nose in the air but give it a chance and it may well become one of your locals. Talking from past experience, The Victory is victorious to all in food, décor and people. The perfect pub for outdoor summer drinking, whilst upstairs is the best place to get waited on hand and foot. Naval paraphernalia is the theme here with fish in a tank, olde worlde books and a wicked little treasure hidden upstairs: a bar up top where you can actually order your pint without queuing. Class.
