Envy
Located above Charles Street, many drinkers shuffle upstairs from the bar to this claustrophobic space. Mind you some interesting nights happen here, they include 'Perfume Garden' and London favourites 'Crash'. The struggling London club 'Coco Latte' hosts the Sundays here trading on its stylish, designer image. The truth, however, is that once inside, the mannequins are the best dressed and there's precious little style about the night. Having said that, Sundays are a popular night to go out in Brighton and the serious lack of Sunday choice means that Coco Latte is somewhat of a success. Saturday nights are 'The Scene', a house music driven night hosted by a nightmare of a drag queen whose greedy hands are everywhere and whose ego is really out of this world.
