Earth and Stars, The
The 'eco friendly', Earth and Stars has a range of organic beers and food. The idea of organic beer makes us think of a thick brown stomach churner, but this stuff is actually very good, although the prices are enough to make you forget your ethics as you hand over £2.70 a pint. The atmosphere is less 'pub' and more wine bar. It's relaxed and stylish in a 'save the dolphins' kind of way, lots of wood and reclaimed furniture, nice lighting and chilled out music. Very civilised, a bit different, nice attention to detail; quality at a price.
