Squid
Since The Squid's recent refit this place has really blossomed –a bit like Hilary Clinton after she'd discovered the wonders of bleach. Whereas once it thrived on its pre–club credentials it's now more of a laidback bar that lends itself to weekday hob–nobbing and weekend gossiping. That isn't to say that the liveliness has gone, it can still deliver as hedonistic a night as you can make it. Fresh, funky and fun. Give it a whirl on your way to the pier.
