Berlioz Restaurant
Overlooking the delightful New Street which, although admittedly better now it's pedestrianised, is still not the ideal backdrop to the 'understated elegance' of the Berlioz with the post–pub mooning crowd. Not only is the Burlington the city's most luxurious hotel but the Berlioz is one of, if not the poshest restaurants. Food was melting with flavours and the service was impeccable –especially when a spot of oaf–like behaviour saw a full glass of Rioja fall into my loved one's lap, and the waiter honoroubly tried to take the blame for it. She didn't buy it, but thanks for trying fella.
