Coffee Etc.
Central lunch spot that serves good, cheap food to students and beyond.
Review
This North African-inspired café is located a stone's throw from Nicolson Street and is close enough to make a good alternative to the eateries of the Royal Mile if you don't fancy shelling out a tenner for a sandwich and coke. The menu isn't exactly extensive but they make delicious and generously-filled wraps to order, with a choice of various meats, cheeses and dips, at around £3.50 a pop. Despite the name, the coffee doesn't take centre stage here but the mint tea is delicious. A favourite with students, Coffee Etc. isn't going to win awards for style or innovation but the food is tasty, filling and cheap – definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.Jessica Abrahams
