Zebrano Soho
For the well-dressed of Soho
Review
For a lot of people getting dressed up to go out is hard work and
probably left to the experts, like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. And
then there are those who effortlessly manage to be a powerhouse of
networking stamina straight out of the office. Itchy spent the night
admiring them from a distance (it could be catching) at Zebrano Soho, Greek
Street.
Now men, you don't have to wear a suit to drink here, but you'll fit right in if you do, and let's face it suits make everything look good (even those ugly dogs with the flat faces, poor things). And since most of Soho is awash with the indie masses, this is not a bad place to hang up your flip flops and straighten your tie.
In fact, this is the perfect bar to take your work colleagues out for the night. Their entertainment - the mildly, though not deliberately, amusing @BobiiLewis managed a collection of 90s and modern hits, and didn't offend anyone with naughty jokes. The service was impeccable and the food and drink was delightful. There was a waitress Itchy very nearly proposed to whilst she was offering little parma ham and egg pancake bites.
The cocktails are nicely mixed, barstaff are efficient but not hurried, and there's nothing too confused or radical on the menu for your boss to throw up tomorrow morning.
The things Itchy likes about Zebrano are the 10 wines for £10, the all-night Happy Hour Monday to Thursday for the Company of the Month (nominate your people by emailing now) and the special offers that members get. Top tip, being a VIP at a club really looks good when suggesting a place to drink after work.
Becoming a member gets you 20% of food and drink, VIP entry and invites to all the Zebrano events and the joyous thing is that it's totally free and you can register online. Take a look at all the discounts you get on local businesses and register here.
If you want to follow Zebrano on the social-medias then take a look at @ZebranoBars on Twitter or check out their events on Facebook. Oh, and check out those brilliant table decorations, they smelt amazing and nicely covered up any unfortunate human odours - genius.
