Lovesong at Sherman Cymru
Physical theatre, here we come!

Cathays-based Sherman Cymru is bringing a sparkling array of
new shows to Cardiff, in line with its sparkling new look. One of the
first shows that will grace the brand spanking new stage is beautiful
play Lovesong by Abi Morgan, whose talents have already made a pretty
hefty mark through her work on BBC’s The Hour and recent silver screen
success, The Iron Lady.
Lovesong presents a couple in the youthful throes of romance, juxtaposed with their senior selves to tell the heart-squeezing tale of love that stands the test of time. It will be brought to life by the contemporary Frantic Assembly theatre company, aptly-named for the energy and vitality injected into their work.
We at Itchy are buzzing to see them, ourselves. It’s all we can do not to start running up walls or acting out some choreographic masterpiece. Purely for the sake of our wellbeing, 15th February had better get a move on!

Wednesday 15th February – 19:30
Thursday 16th February – 19:30 with Post Show Talk
