NME Radar Tour 2010

I liked them before they SOLD out

Listings

For the second time this year, The NME Radar Tour is gracing a town near you. Used as a launch pad for talented young things bidding for a career within the world of song, it would seem we are inundated with talent.

Some of the previous participants include The Rakes, giving them the mainstream exposure they needed to kick on and eventually, um, split. But it was fun while it lasted...

This year's second instalment sees The Joy Formidable, Chapel Club, Wilder, and Itchy's angry favourites – Flats. It's a good chance to see both the riff-raff and soon-to-be-known talent, as well as listen to Flats rant about Mods. Hilariously mean.

The tour kicks-off on 27th September at the Birmingham O2 Academy and passes through many a good town until its finale at KOKO, London. You can buy tickets at www.nme.com/tickets.
