WIN an After Eight Dinner Party Pack

For those who like to feed others

Competition

We don't know about you, but Itchy are massive fans of Come Dine With Me. We love the unhinged contestants, the half-baked (sometimes literally) recipes, the genius commentary. And most of all we love the conviction that each and every one of us harbours that there is absolutely no doubt that, if we were to lower ourselves to becoming a contestant, we would win by a mile.

But just what does constitute the perfect dinner party? A starter, main and dessert are the basics but done badly they can be as much a hindrance as a help. So it's a good idea to have a couple of traditional crowd-pleasers up your sleeve. Everyone loves a wafer thin mint, and After Eight, the nation's favourite dinner party mint, are the obvious choice. Just don't stuff yourselves first or you'll end up with an impromptu re-enactment of the Monty Python sketch and the carpet will never be the same.

Bona fide dinner party expert Jim Haynes has hosted a dinner every Sunday at his home in Paris for anyone to attend and has now compiled his expertise into a book. To celebrate we are running a competition to win an incredible dinner party prize pack of wonder. This unique prize pack includes the ultimate guide for hosts, entitled ”Throw a Great Party: Inspired by Evenings in Paris with Jim Haynes“, twelve packs of After Eight mints, as well as premium wine glasses, water tumblers, coasters and dinner lights. Basically, all the crucial elements to winning Come Dine With Me. Or perhaps just entertaining your friends.

To be in with a chance of winning just answer the following question:

Which day of the week did Jim Haynes choose to host his dinner parties on?

Tuesday, Friday or Sunday?

Email the answer along with your name and address to competitions@itchyonline.com with the subject line After Eight Goodies.
