This gem is like Paperchase's hip younger sister, and is popular with locals and tourists alike. Stocking all manner of amusing cards, gifts, stationery, accessories and other retro goodies (even a section devoted to Tintin), they know how to tempt those pennies out of your purse. Definitely worth a visit, even if only to gaze in admiration at things that you didn't even know existed but, on reflection, desperately need in your life. The shop covers two floors, and tends to stock seasonal items such as Christmas decorations and Mother's Day cards in addition to their year round collection.Laura Reynolds
